I am not sure that everyone is aware of Dr. Horrible's (that's Horrible with 2 r's ha ha ha) Sing Along Blog, but you should be. Pretty funny entertainment here folks. If you don't like it, I'm sorry that it's not your cup of tea.
www.drhorrible.com would be the stie. It currently has 3 acts, and they are working on the 4th. It was created by Joss Whedon (who did Buffy, Angel, and Serenity among other projects) during the writers strike with his brothers I think, and some of his little actor buddies. Happy watching!

Wall-E party

First of all.. Thank you Janet for putting out party together. Thanks to the Ortho docs as well for funding it. There is a card floating around the floor to sign for them. :)
I think everyone had a good time, and I think we are planning another movie gathering for this fall! Here are the pics that Janet sent to me- Thanks again!
Thank you to everyone who could make it- and sorry you weren't there to those who were slaving away at work so the rest of us could have a good time! :)
It was nice to meet family members/ see those that we knew, as well as chat for longer than between call lights with everyone!

Holly knows what it means to go that extra mile for her patients. When those call lights ring- she's off! Way to go Holly! :)

Actually, this was Holly's FIFTH re-enactment of a spill she took here at work. This last one left her a little on the black and blue side so the encores stopped here. What would we do without you Mrs. Jara?!
This video is a great example of why I love it here... 98.7% of the time.
By the way.. Kudos to Ryan Sargent for capturing this wonderful moment in 4th floor history!

Little Baby Jake

Congrats to our Brit! She had a beautiful baby boy on June 25th. 8lbs 8oz. 20" long.
They named him Jacob West Bradbury. Brit named him after Uncle Brad! (or West is her maiden name- whichever you chose to believe!)

Jen Jen the.... RN!!

I just recieved a little e-mail from our own Jen Newman, and I'm sure that everyone misses her so I thought I would pass it along to ya'll!

Wow...what a pleasant surprise to open my e-mail and see a note from you...funny that there are two Jen Newman's at intermountain, I (and I'm sure many of you) thought that one was more than enough!! Well...I miss you guys like crazy!! Fourth floor was my home away from home for two years and it is strange not seeing everyone everyday. I do have to say that I am very happy to not be spending my entire life savings on gas...especially with the new prices. Suddenly, waking up at four am seems like a strange idea.

Well, the ER is amazing. It is everything that I had hoped for and more. There is no stopping from the minute that my shift starts to the end...but I thrive on chaos so I love it. I have learned more in the two months working here than I think I ever did in nursing school. I have definitely seen some amazing things and learn something new everyday. I passed boards the beginning of June so I am officially Jen the RN.
I hope this email finds everyone happy and healthy. Hopefully one day soon I will come and float back down to happy valley....
